KooKoo Bear Kids Teams Up With Tom Glavine & CureSearch to support Children's Cancer Research
KooKoo Bear Kids, Inc. will donate the full proceeds of sales from CureSearch tee-shirts and green "Reach the Day" wristbands to CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation, a charity that supports life-saving childhood cancer research. NY Mets pitcher Tom Glavine became active in the pediatric cancer community after a friend's son was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma. The child attends school with the children of KooKoo Bear Kids' president, Tara Mediate. Bonded by their affection for this child and their shared wish to help others like him, the families are uniting to raise funds for this worthy cause.
The featured items benefiting CureSearch are found in the KooKoo Bear Kids catalog or online at www.KooKooBearKids.com. An additional donation to CureSearch will be made from a percentage of profits of the clothing modeled by Tom Glavine and his family in the Spring issue of KooKoo Bear Kids' catalog and can also be found online at www.KooKooBearKids.com.
So join us as we seek to help generate funds for childhood cancer research and help to increase awareness that childhood cancer remains the number-one disease killer of children in the US. For more information on CureSearch, visit their web site at www.curesearch.org.
